Recently, Finnis Architects competed three teams in the Australian Corporate Triathlon, which raises funds for beyondblue. The event, which was held on Sunday saw nine Finnis staff compete with each member from each team completing one leg of the race whilst being cheered on by the rest of the staff and their families who had all come out to support us.

The race was a fantastic way to get out of the office and get active by completing the 400m swim, 10km bike ride, and 4km run whilst having a lot of fun. Highlights included Les’ super fast swim leg, finishing first from the group in his super slick wet suit, Joe’s lightening fast bike leg, and Michael’s ‘celebration’ at the end of the run to finish the triathlon.
All staff and family members had a great day and after being sufficiently exhausted enjoyed a team lunch to celebrate. Finnis was proud to be involved in the race which raises funds for its charity partner beyondblue and helps raise awareness for depression and mental health.
A happy team after finishing the race with our support crew
We would also like to thank our sponsor for the event Urban Projuice who provided us with our team uniforms and supported us in the race. We are looking forward to next year and going bigger and better.
